Explore Nagano on Two Wheels: 8 Spectacular Cycling Locations
Get Out and Enjoy Nagano’s Beautiful Scenery by Bicycle
Tour the Nagano Countryside by Bicycle
Nagano’s train lines and expressways are convenient ways to get around, but almost too convenient. By touring around on bicycle, you can experience the rural sights and sounds that you would otherwise miss if by train or car. And with bike trails and rental cycle shops having easy train access, cycling is an ideal way to see more of Nagano. Just remember – the most important part of cycling is to get off the bike – stop to meet shop owners, check to see what a farmer is raising, and wonder at the mysticism of that local shrine or temple.
