Omachi Park sits on a hillside just outside of the city and has unobstructed views of town and the Northern Japanese Alps.

The pink cherry blossoms that bloom in the park contrast strikingly against the snow-covered mountains.

Access and Parking

Access	By Train/Bus: From Nagano Station, take the Ogizawa line bus to Shinano-Omachi Station (60 min., 2,300 yen). Then, take a 6-minute taxi to the park. From Matsumoto Station, take the Oito line train to Shinano-Omachi Station (60 min, 680 yen). Then, take a 6-minute taxi to the park. By Car: 27km/40 minutes from the Azumino IC exit. 41km/65 minutes from the Nagano IC exit.
