The Hakuna matata salon in Nakano City offers visitors a chance to wear traditional kimono or yukata in a relaxed setting. Rent one for the day and visit some of Northern Nagano’s sights!

“Kimono are traditional garments that were worn regularly in Japan around 100 years ago. These days, they are worn mainly during important ceremonies and events.

Kimono, with a variety of colors and traditional Japanese patterns, greatly emphasize the wearer’s beauty and can be matched with a variety of obi belts and accessories. We have a wide range of kimono made with beautiful clothes expressive of Japanese culture and its four seasons.

At our shop, you can easily rent and wear such beautiful kimono. Afterwards, you can enjoy the sights of Northern Nagano, stroll through its towns, and eat its local delicacies.

The kimono’s structure naturally improves your posture, making your movements, gestures and even your insides more attractive and beautiful!
