Hi, I am planning to visit Nagano in Feb\’19 and we will take Hokuriku Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo. We will bring 2 kids, one aged 4 and one aged 3. May I know if we need to buy ticket for them or if it is free of charge? Thanks

Hi Joyce,

Babies and toddlers (0~6, not of school age) can ride the Hokuriku Shinkansen for free, as long as they are accompanied by a paying ticket holder. A paying ticket holder can bring up to two toddlers on the train for free.

I hope that helps answer your question. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask on our English language Forum, as our English-speaking staff do not normally view the Chinese language pages of Go! Nagano.
