I would like to visit Nunobiki Kannon in Komoro. Is there a bus that runs near the temple, by any chance? Or would I be able to rent a bike at Komoro station?
There aren’t any buses that pass Nunobiki Kannon, but you can rent a bicycle (regular or electric-assist) from the Tourist Information Center outside of Komoro Station. From the station to the entrance of Nunobiki Kannon is about 25 minutes by bike.
The tourism information center can provide a map and help direct you to the temple. You can rent a bicycle for three hours for 600 yen (1,200 yen per day) or an electric-assist bike for 1,000 yen (2,000 yen per day). They also have helmet rentals as well.
