Hi Grace,

There is a highway bus that travels between Matsumoto and Ina, but it stops only along the interchange, meaning that you would have to use a taxi to reach the Matsumoto bus stop and another taxi to leave the Ina bus stop. You can see the bus timetable here.

Rather, I recommend that you take the Chuo Higashi train line to Okaya, and switch to the Iida line and get off at Inashi Station. From there, turn left out of the station and walk down the street until you see the Ina Bus Terminal. Buses to Miharashi Farm depart from there.

Here is the timetable for the Ina-Miharashi Farm bus. The top half is to Miharashi, and the bottom half is return. I apologize that it’s all in Japanese!

And regarding Obuse, yes, there are coin lockers at the station. They can also hold onto luggage at the station for 500 Yen per item.

I hope that answers your question.

Hi Bernadette,

You would travel from Nagano to Ina by train, taking the Shinonoi line to Matsumoto Station, then the Chuo Line to Okaya Station, then the Iida line to Inashi Station. From there, you would take a bus to Miharashi Farm.

See Hyperdia for train times and fares, and this link for the Miharashi farm bus timetable.
