We are back with a report about the Togakushi Trail Running Race we announced in August. 10 days before the event, we had some snow fall here and everybody in the organization became nervous. But fortunately, the snow melted before the critical date and, thanks to the Gods of Togakushi, the weather was tremendous for the whole week-end. Runners could even enjoyed views of Fuji san during the race.
Over 700 runners from all over the country (some of them came all the way down from Hokkaido) and from overseas took part to the event. Best times for the 45 km were 4:49 (men) and 6:17 (women).
The age of the participants range from 8 up to 65 years old, showing there is almost no limit for this kind of race.
The date of the 2nd edition is still not yet scheduled in 2010, but we will let know as soon it is official.
