I would like to visit Kamikochi on 10 or 11 April 2019 for just sightseeing. I’m curious, will we have buses running there? how much can I see while it is not officially opened yet?
Thank you in advance.
We plan to go to Sora Terrace on 13 & 14 Apr 2019. Is it open and if so, do we need to book for shuttle from Yudanaka station to Ryuoo Ski Park. I can only find the shuttle schedule from 15 December to 24 March 2019. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi, I am planning to head to nagano from 20-22 March. I have no idea where to go. Can i have a rough idea on how the weather is like usually at this timing, is there anywhere else you can recommend?
Will hakuba even be opened on the date that i am going?
Hi, is it possible to see the milky way in august just at Achi Village without going up to Star Village Achi?
I’m planning to visit Nagano prefecture in May to visit Zenkoji, Togakushi Jinja, Yudanaka Onsen, and the Magome-Tsumago trail.
I’m also thinking of taking a day trip to Matsumoto castle, but I want recommendations of places and attractions that I can visit on the same day without spending too much time on buses and trains. Is Kamikochi a viable visit on the same day as Matsumoto?
Hi! I am staying in Nagano for a few days in february, and I’m intrested in going to the Hakuba ski resort for skiing just over a day. Is that possible or would you recommend staying the night in Hakuba as well?
Our group is looking to travel to Hakuba towards the end of Season. An option would be clearly to take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano then take a bus into the Hakuba.
Is there still a directly bus running from Tokyo directly into and from Hakuba? Our group is planning to travel there on 23-27 of March.
Is Highway 292 open from Myoko to Iiyama in winter?
I will be travelling to the area in a week and half with my family – we are 2 adults and 2 children (6 years and 2 years)
We would like to tour for about 4 days in the Nagano area, maybe head on to Matsumoto, Takyama, maybe shirakawa-go (If its not all too far). I am not looking for a long route.
what itinerary would you suggest for 3-4 days. We are coming from Tokyo and already have a night booked in Nagano (2nd Feb) and we are looking to fill 3 more night before going back to Tokyo (or Hakone).
Also – how would you travel – by train, shuttle or car (with 2 kids it get hard – but the roads must be dangerous this season)?
