Plant Trees with Kabuki Actor Ichikawa Ebizo

June 3rd, 2016

With today’s climate worries, it’s more important than ever to give back to the environment. This June in Nagano, the Abmori project will be planting trees in the Shigakogen area of Yamanouchi. In their first two events, they planted over 18500 trees with 2100 participants. If you’re free, consider giving them a hand and get a chance to meet one of Japan’s famous Kabuki actors! Read the Abmori project’s message below for more information:

With a theme of growing “Life-preserving Forests,” Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo will be planting trees in the Yamanouchi Shigakogen area this June. Participation is free, so why not join him and plant trees together? After tree-planting, you can enjoy locally-produced 100% apple juices and curry made with Shigakogen’s own Nemagari bamboo shoots (a small fee may apply).
